Senior AI Engineer (Hybrid)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Research/AI Engineer with a passion for Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive the research and development of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production-ready AI models, with a special focus on NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Generative AI applications. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of projects leveraging LLMs, from research to prototyping to final product and monitoring in production.
• Actively work with large language models (such as GPT, Llama, Mistral, Gemini, Gemma, etc.) to develop novel features and products.
• Implement fine-tuning and/or model distillation techniques to adapt LLMs to specific domains and optimize for performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust code in Python.
• Design and build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to improve the accuracy and context of model responses.
• Conduct rigorous experimentation and model evaluation to ensure performance.
• Collaborate with product and software engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into our core products.

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI Research.
• Proven proficiency in Python and ML/Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc).
• Practical experience in fine-tuning or distillation of LLMs.
• Solid experience in architecting, developing, and deploying Machine Learning Models.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with NLP tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.

Desired Skills (A Plus)

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Contributions to research (publications in top-tier conferences) or open-source projects.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
• Experience with LLM frameworks and tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
