YOUR ROLE Edenred is looking for a Functional Finance Architect (Finance Systems) in technology for Edenred finance's organization to act as a Finance Domain Architect. You have a passion for driving technology blueprint, leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, and influencing executives as well as architects and engineers. A penchant for accuracy and integrity of financial data, and a flair for making judgement calls between approach and speed for a solution is essential. Your experience encompasses business strategy and exposure to systems supporting the Finance function, like ERP, EPM and S2P tools. You will have the ability to leverage prior success within a complex business that has enormous amounts of transactional, repeatable data. This highly visible position will be front and center as we work to continuously modernize our finance systems and change the way we think about and apply finance domain data in solutions across our enterprise business processes. You must possess a wide background in data technologies platforms, defining data domains as applicable to different business processes and knowledge of financial processes (R2R, O2C, S2P, FP&A, Consolidation). As a critical member of the architecture team, you should be comfortable working closely with the application solution architects, data architects, and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive architecture across the organization and adherences to roadmap and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. You will be responsible for:
- Gaining an understanding of our Current State and then defining the Target State Architecture and Strategy, and collaboratively develop the transition roadmap with the project manager and application service owner. Drive towards adoption of the target state architecture by executing on the strategy. Must possess the leadership qualities necessary to drive change and adoption of the strategy.
- Drive end to end architecture and data domain definition across all business processes with focus on Finance processes. Develop and deliver design documentation, architectural metrics and reports for the broader team
- Contribute proactively to the Design and Execution of the Finance Transformation by leveraging market software knowledge during the RFP process and participating in all RFP stages. Define solution designs aligned with the target application landscape, and deliver/validate detailed design (both processes and tools).
- Present your own designs to internal and external groups, review designs of others.
- Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, efficient decision making, and individual/team accountability
- Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies across multiple organizations to ensure alignment to the objectives and teams to do their jobs effectively. Perform annual architectural maturity assessments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SaaS?, * 10+ years of experience in the software product preferably in the financial industry in senior architecture
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent work experience - advanced degree preferred
- Possess strong knowledge of the Finance domain, including some familiarity with financial regulations, financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Good understanding of SaaS-based software, including its deployment, customization, and integration within an enterprise environment (Proven experience in tools such as Oracle EBS and ETL tools for data integration)
- Knowledge of data management principles, including data ingestion and ETL processes
- Experience in making successful trade-offs that balance the short and long term product goals
- Architecture modelling experience using architecture modelling tools and notations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Language: French, English; Spanish is a plus
