Also known as a " Pre -Sales Consultant" or "Sales Consultant," the Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in the company's technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Account Solution Engineer to partner with our key clients across Financial Services (including Banking, Insurance or Health Insurance, Wealth Management, and Commodity Trading) and the Public Sector, specifically focusing on Transportation and Utility Companies.
In this pivotal, customer-facing role, you will be the bridge between our customers' biggest business challenges and the innovative power of the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on integrating AI and agentic capabilities. You will be responsible for understanding customer goals, designing transformational Salesforce and AI solutions, and presenting a compelling vision to senior business and IT leaders.

What You Will Do: Your Impact
- Solution Architect & Designer: Work closely with your assigned Account Managers to lead discovery sessions to uncover client needs and craft tailored Salesforce solutions, leveraging the Salesforce Platform, Industry Solutions like Financial Services Cloud, and Generative AI and Agentforce capabilities to align perfectly with their business objectives.
- Customer Engagement & Vision: Bring Salesforce to life! Deliver engaging, customized demonstrations, prototypes, and presentations that showcase how humans and AI agents work together to drive efficiency and innovation for client personas, including C-level executives.
- Strategic Roadmap Creation: Build and articulate clear customer journey strategies and IT roadmaps, demonstrating how Salesforce's AI-powered platform delivers measurable business value and ROI.
- Cross-Industry Consulting: Apply your understanding of Financial Services and Public Sector challenges to position Salesforce as the best solution for AI-driven transformation in areas like customer service, risk management, and field operations.
- Sales Cycle Support: Work closely with the Account Executives to support the sales process by developing strong business cases, responding to customer requests, and building impactful demo environments that feature AI solutions.
- Thought Leadership: Guide large enterprises on CRM and Agentic Workforce Transformation, becoming a trusted advisor who helps them adopt AI and unlock new levels of customer success using the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Collaboration: Partner with client Business and IT teams to identify challenges and build creative, out-of-the-box solutions on the platform.
- Territorial Engagement: Travel as required for high-impact client meetings and workshops.
Requirements
We are seeking individuals who understand the why behind the technology, focus on the business outcome and are able to translate this into convincing messaging for our clients., * Experience: 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role like Pre-Sales Consultant, Solution Engineer, or Customer Success, ideally supporting large enterprise accounts.
- Industry Focus: Proven experience or familiarity within Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Fintechs, Wealth/Asset Management, or Commodity Trading) AND/OR the Public Sector, specifically with Transportation or Utility companies.
- Business Acumen: Strong ability to connect customer needs to solutions, develop compelling customer journey maps, and justify the ROI for business-focused investments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior and C-level stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a sales team to solve complex problems and deliver a unified customer experience.
- High Velocity: Proven capacity to stay productive and effective in high-intensity, fast-moving settings.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- AI/Innovation Mindset: Understanding of core AI concepts (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, Agents) and how they drive business value.
- Salesforce Certified: Active Salesforce Certifications (e.g., AgentForce Badges, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Platform App Builder) are a significant advantage.
- Platform Expertise: Prior experience as a Salesforce Solution or Sales Engineer, or a strong background implementing, configuring, or demonstrating Salesforce solutions.
