Applications- and System Engineer

As part of our "Digital Systems" team, which consists of software developers, engineers, and technicians, you will take on a central role in supporting and further developing the production- and machine-related digital systems at our sites., * You will be responsible for the administration and support of the process information system (OsiSoft / AVEVA PI) at our Louisenthal and Königstein sites.

• You will maintain close contact, among others, with the respective IT, production, and technical departments.
• You will independently train, support, and create documentation for our users.
• You will be responsible for the development and further development of applications.
• You will carry out the migration of the development environment to Azure DevOps.

Do you have experience in Visual Studio?, * You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable qualification.

• You have a solid understanding of data pipelines, databases such as MSSQL and MySQL, as well as industrial processes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the C# programming language and are familiar with Visual Basic, Python, and/or C++.
• Ideally, you have already created visualizations with WinForms, WPF, and/or Blazor, and you are very familiar with Visual Studio, (Azure) DevOps, and GIT Repos.
• You are interested in collaborative projects and actively contribute; you are motivated to further educate yourself independently and tackle complex tasks.
• You are open to traveling to our Königstein (Saxony) site and have fluent German skills (at least C1 level) as well as good English skills.
