Job description
As a System Administrator (m/f/d), you will be a core pillar of our infrastructure team, blending deep technical administration with essential user support. With your expertise in system administration, user support, and IT process automation, you will drive the operational excellence of our IT landscape, ensuring the optimal execution and scalability of our company strategies. This hybrid role is based at our Lohne office, where your expertise will directly support our growing team and technological ambitions, including the innovative use of AI and automation., * System & Network Administration: You design, maintain, and secure our Mac-based technical infrastructure, covering our local office hub in Lohne and remote environments
- Authentication & Security: You manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including firewalls, security protocols, and robust authentication services (IdP) to ensure network integrity and user access control
- Hardware & Device Management (MDM): You maintain our device management utilizing solutions like Apple Business Manager (ABM) and an MDM (e.g., Kandji/Jamf) to automate the full lifecycle of macOS and iOS devices, from procurement and inventory to on/offboarding
- Software & SaaS Tool Management: You maintain and automate our comprehensive tool stack, managing licenses, contracts, and application upgrades for services like Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), and various other SaaS applications
- IT Helpdesk & User Support: You serve as the technical go-to person, handling escalated helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing friendly, patient support across all departments
- Automation & Innovation: You leverage your understanding of APIs and tools like Workato, N8N, and Zapier to build automations for IT processes. You actively explore and integrate AI tools (like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) to enhance internal workflows
Requirements
- You possess a completed vocational qualification in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration / Fachinformatiker Systemintegration)
- You bring a minimum of two years of proven professional experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role
- You demonstrate strong working knowledge of the Mac / iOS ecosystem and proven expertise in managing user permission management and user authentication services (IdP)
- You ideally have deep technical expertise in key platforms, specifically: Kandji / Jamf, Okta / Auth0, Workato / N8N / Zapier, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Network administration, Security, and Ubiquiti hardware
- You exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills and a logical, analytical thought process to create secure and efficient processes for users
- You are a collaborative team player with an approachable demeanor, making users feel comfortable seeking help and explaining complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner
- You work with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership of issues, and proactively drive solutions and process improvements forward
- You are fluent in both German and English
