In this position, you will design, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure systems that support our platform. You will work closely with engineering teams to streamline deployments, improve observability, and ensure our services run smoothly across cloud environments., * Build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes.
- Design, monitor, and improve cloud environments across AWS and GCP.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
- Develop automation tooling to streamline deployments, CI/CD, and operations.
- Implement best practices for observability, monitoring, and incident response.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help guide system improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform stability.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)to join our engineering team in Barcelona. This role is ideal for candidates who have begun their careers in backend engineering and transitioned into SRE roles, as well as senior backend engineers with strong experience in reliability and infrastructure., We are seeking someone with strong problem-solving skills, deep cloud knowledge, and hands-on production experience in modern infrastructure tooling., * 8-10 years of overall engineering experience.

Acceptable backgrounds include: Backend engineers who have transitioned into SRE roles for ~5+ years, or Senior backend engineers with strong production infrastructure experience.

Strong, hands-on Kubernetes experience (production-grade).

Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda).

Expertise in GCP services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, Pub/Sub).

Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and cloud architectures.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Willingness to relocate to Barcelona (relocation support available).
Nice to Have
- Experience with service mesh frameworks (Istio, Linkerd).
- Strong observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Background in security engineering or compliance frameworks.
- Experience in high-growth or cloud-native startup environments.
