Job description
Manage all company devices (Windows/macOS laptops/desktops, peripherals); own account lifecycle, device rollout, access controls, and documentation (on/offboarding, asset management, support workflows).

Vendor & MSP management Select, onboard, and manage the outsourced IT services provider. Define SLAs, track performance, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships.

Infrastructure & systems Own internal IT infrastructure (networking, Wi-Fi, servers/NAS, backup/DR, VPN). Support integration of SaaS and cloud solutions across teams.

Security & compliance Define and enforce IT security policies, identity/access management, and data-protection measures. Implement MDM/EDR/monitoring and incident response. Ensure best practices and GDPR-aligned processes.

ERP enablement Partner with the ERP implementation team to align identity, access, networking, and endpoint requirements.

Planning & budget Build the IT roadmap and budget; balance short-term priorities with long-term scalability. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on technology topics.
Supporting responsibilities
- Enable reliable, secure connectivity for office and hybrid setups.
- Drive continuous improvement in IT processes, documentation, and tooling.
- Coach stakeholders on secure-by-default practices; champion a helpful, service-oriented IT culture.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, 5+ years in IT administration/infrastructure within a startup/scale-up.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows/macOS, SaaS stacks, and cloud environments.
- Proven vendor/MSP management and SLA ownership.
- Solid grasp of security best practices, IAM, endpoint protection, and compliant processes (GDPR awareness).
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating as the first IT hire, both strategic and very hands-on.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting or integrating ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exposure to MDM and identity platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, SSO).
- Background in manufacturing/technology/hardware environments.
- Project management exposure or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP).
