Azure PaaS Technical Architect - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Azure PaaS Technical Architect to support a major cloud transformation and modernisation programme. This role is focused on designing and delivering Azure PaaS based solutions, leading on premises to cloud migration, and providing architectural guidance across development and DevOps teams., * Lead the design of end to end Azure PaaS solutions including App Services, Functions, API Management, Logic Apps and related services

• Define and document cloud migration strategies for moving Legacy on premises applications to Azure
• Conduct technical assessments of existing environments and create detailed cloud roadmaps
• Provide architectural leadership to development and DevOps teams, ensuring solutions follow best practice for security, scalability and performance
• Support the creation and optimisation of CI CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code deployments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solution designs
• Produce architectural documentation including patterns, HLDs and LLDs
• Ensure cost optimisation, resilience and governance standards are Embedded into all solutions

• Proven experience as a Cloud or Solution Architect with strong Azure PaaS design expertise
• Hands on experience with App Services, Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure SQL
• Strong background leading on premises to Azure migrations and modernisation programmes
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity, RBAC, monitoring and security best practice
• Experience with microservices based architectures and API led integration
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep or Terraform
• Background in .NET Core, Angular or SQL a strong advantage
• Excellent communication skills and experience working across cross functional delivery teams
