Job Description We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Product Owner to lead the development and continuous enhancement of our onboarding processes and products. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring our solutions deliver a seamless, engaging, and efficient experience for client servicing teams, while meeting the expectations and requirements of Trustees and EBCs. What you'll be doing: Defining and owning the product vision for the Onboarding value stream, aligning with the company's client services strategy and digital roadmap, while articulating product benefits and visualising the roadmap to guide development, piloting, and release strategies Championing a scheme-first mindset by ensuring solutions enhance colleague experience and deliver intuitive, accessible, and valuable services for pension schemes, while driving continuous improvement of technology products supporting DB scheme journeys Applying design thinking to explore innovative concepts, prototype solutions, validate ideas, and gather early feedback Translating business and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while prioritising and managing the product backlog to balance member value, business impact, and technical feasibility Collaborating with internal stakeholders-including engineering, design, customer service, compliance, and client relationship managers-to ensure alignment and readiness for digital change, acting as the voice of the customer in agile ceremonies Partnering with UX/UI designers, engineers, and data analysts to deliver high-quality digital experiences, monitoring product performance through analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement Ensuring Consumer Duty compliance by reviewing system and process changes to safeguard customer outcomes Leading teams effectively, applying consistent management practices aligned with Group policies and the Partnership Agreement to maximise business performance Qualifications Who we're looking for: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or pensions Certified Product Owner (PSPO, CSPO, or SAFe POPM) or proven equivalent experience Deep understanding of Defined Benefit pensions and member servicing models Proven track record as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in digital member/customer experiences within financial services or pensions Strong Agile delivery experience, including proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence Knowledge of digital design principles, accessibility standards, and customer journey mapping Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex requirements into user-focused solutions Leadership capability to manage multiple teams within a matrix structure Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
