Solution Architect - Banking

Looking to support our Team in Zurich which is launching a transformative initiative with one of our major Financial Institutions: the implementation of a scalable and efficient client billing solution. We are seeking a Project leader-someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to make a significant impact on the future of banking. This is your opportunity to lead a high-stakes, complex project that combines technological excellence with strategic business objectives., The Solution Architect will reinforce our Synechron Switzerland team in Zurich., * Designing solid, scalable, and maintainable architecture that delivers an excellent user experience.

• Developing and overseeing key software components, including APIs and applications, to establish a reliable and extensible system foundation.
• Leading the integration of multiple applications and services to ensure seamless interoperability and project success.
• Providing continuous technical guidance and architectural leadership, fostering a culture of excellence that inspires the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Analyzing and creating the functional target architecture to ensure the application precisely meets user requirements and aligns with business goals.
• Collaborating closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments (Azure), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS) into the overall solution architecture.
• Advocating for and implementing best practices around security, scalability, and performance in both cloud and on-premises environments.

Do you have experience in Spring Framework?, Your profile and skills:

• You possess a degree in Technology or equivalent.
• You possess strong experience with the Java language, including familiarity with the Spring framework.
• You have proven expertise in REST APIs (including API design, versioning, and maintenance) and solid understanding of networking concepts.
• You demonstrate experience with SQL databases.
• You possess strong skills in DevOps practices, including experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• You are experienced in Azure cloud services and Microsoft technologies, including experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Functions, and related tools.
• You are experienced with containers and container orchestration, primarily Docker and Kubernetes.
• You are fluent in English, other languages will be considered a plus.
• You possess a valid Swiss work permit, or you are an EU national and willing to relocate to Switzerland.
