Job description
The Senior Data Engineer role will help maintain our current data pipelines and will help in larger improvements to the data pipeline and data warehouse. The Senior Data Engineer will help ensure that the data platform can handle very large patient volumes and meet the complex data needs of our internal stakeholders., * Maintain and further develop our data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is successfully replicated to our data warehouse.
- Build and manage our data platform infrastructure in a secure and scalable way
- Collaborate with the data teams to investigate and resolve data-related issues, such as data discrepancies, data anomalies, or pipeline failures.
- Contribute to the automation of data-related tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Help with the documentation of our data architecture, data flows, and data models.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehouse experience?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum 3 years experience in a data engineering or related role.
- Excellent SQL. dbt experience is a big plus
- Good Python or Go programming ability
- Experience using a cloud data warehouse
- Experience building and running data pipelines
- Experience with Airflow or similar job orchestration tools
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for problem-solving.
- Very good spoken and written English
Desirable :
- BigQuery/GCP experience
- dbt experience
- DevOps experience, including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in medicine or health-related fields, including managing confidential data
Education & Qualifications (Please include minimum qualification, necessary training, technical qualification or worked experience required to successfully perform in the job):
- Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
