Senior Data Engineer - Azure

Senior Data Engineer at Yumatech Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. You will be working as a Senior Data Engineer for a company that leads the market on industrial IoT solutions. They are creating a global technology hub in Madrid, and you would be part of an international team of over 30,000 people coordinated by 3 tech hubs in the USA and Spain. You will actively participate in the functional design of data architectures adapted to the company needs, directly participate in global data integration projects for the firm using Microsoft Azure services. You will partner with other team members in the implementation of technical solutions to support current and future data integration business needs. This is a hybrid position in Madrid (2 office days per week) and English is the main language for the role. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows leveraging PySpark, Azure Databricks, SQL Server Studio, and Azure Data Factory.
• Oversee and optimize data flows to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability across all environments.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring frameworks to validate data integrity and performance.
• Manage deployments through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, following established engineering standards and best practices for continuous delivery and reliability.

• +3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, working with cloud technologies, ideally Azure.
• Excellent level of English.
• Proficiency in Python and other programming languages for data integration contexts.
• A huge plus if you have worked with Azure Data Factory or other relevant Azure Data services.
