Job description

This critical role is responsible for the management and provision of performance and data analysis across Hastoe. This role involves providing clear and accurate information on key indicators and targets and driving changes and improvements to our systems and processes in every area of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing new reporting models, and maintaining existing reporting, within Hastoe's Microsoft PowerBI platform.
  • Producing key reports for Hastoe's Executive Team and Board, as well as preparing returns to the Regulator of Social Housing.
  • Liaising with managers and teams across the organisation to ensure they have access to the right information needed to monitor and improve performance.
  • Troubleshooting issues, escalating as needed and maintaining clear communication for any issues.
  • Analysing, interpreting and visualising data to identify areas of improvement, carrying out best practice exercises and supporting changes to processes.
  • Working with Hastoe's IT & Business Systems Team through the migration to Azure and other system/infrastructure changes., 'This is an amazing opportunity to drive improvement and change at Hastoe. You will be working within the Finance Team but will also liaise with managers and colleagues throughout Hastoe, ensuring that your work will be extremely varied and relate to every area of social housing.'

Requirements

Do you have experience in Problem management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with excellent analytical, reasoning and reporting skills. You will need to be highly organised, able to work independently and able to manage competing priorities.

An in-depth understanding of reporting through PowerBI, as well as knowledge and experience in analysing complex datasets and producing in-depth reporting on a regular basis, is essential. Experience in using SQL and DAX to query, extract and formulate data will also be key.

You will also need:

  • Advanced skills in the suite of MS Office applications, most importantly, Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail and an understanding of how to drive and improve quality in data.
  • An understanding of data ethics and privacy, how data should be used and how colleagues can best access and understand this.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
  • Strong problem solving, determination and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience analysing, visualising and recommending actions based on data analysis., * Bachelor's (required), * Microsoft Power BI: 3 years (required)
