Application Development Analyst - 37.5 Hours

• Supporting implementation of system changes and upgrades for core business apps, with internal and external parties.

• Proactively understanding, developing and supporting the integration of internal systems.

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of technical solutions and making recommendations for improvements.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, assess, define, and document system requirements based on current business needs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

• Understanding pain points and identifying opportunities for streamlining operations.

• Conducting comprehensive analysis of existing business systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

• Creating and executing test scenarios at various stages of the project to validate solution design and supporting business users in executing the user acceptance testing.

• Participating in scoping workshops with business stakeholders and partners; building process and data flows alongside process owners.

• Promoting best practices with systems, including training, and showcasing tips and efficiencies for relevant departments as part of the handover to BAU.

• Helping educate employees on new processes and systems, ensuring smooth adoption and integration.

• Serving as a subject matter expert and providing ongoing support to end-users, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues with ICT support, and implementing system enhancements.

• Participating in supporting upgrades for existing programs and applications.

• Identifying users' needs and communicating them with third party agencies.

• Providing ad-hoc ongoing support and troubleshooting for systems.

• Working closely with and being an escalation point for the ICT Support department for

complex technical issues that they are unable to resolve.

The successful candidate will act as a supporting consultant, expert, and agent of change and provide high quality technical business application project support through to test and release.
