Job description

As Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Manage and develop trust-wide digital systems to ensure accurate and secure data integration.
  • Oversee automated data flows between platforms including Azure, Office 365, Paxton Net2, Fabric, Microsoft School Data Sync, and the Nimble Training Platform.
  • Lead on system integration, system upgrades, and bespoke application development.
  • Build automation processes, APIs, and scripts (particularly PowerShell and SQL).
  • Manage data lakes and support trust-wide digital transformation initiatives.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice and ensure systems are resilient, secure, and compliant.
  • Travel between academies as required (mileage compensated where eligible).
  • Benefit from flexible remote working when not required on site.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, APIs, and automation technologies.
  • Experience integrating complex systems and developing bespoke tools/applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex tech clearly.
  • A proactive approach and ability to manage diverse priorities across multiple sites.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
