The tribe Risk and Credits has an end-to-end product responsibility of all solutions to manage the credits and the related risks for BNP Paribas Fortis. The credit activity is of the upmost importance for our customers: we help people buy the house of their dreams or open the bakery of which they always dreamed.
The tribe consists of multi-disciplinary teams (squads) combining all the IT & business skills needed to develop & maintain the solutions supporting the credit activity. The tribe Risk and Credits is one of the larger tribes within the Agile Impulse organisation. We deliver value by delivering the initiatives that support our Risk and Credits strategy, comply with legal constraints and guarantee the continuity of our applications. This we do in an agile way.
As Chapter lead of the scrum masters you're a people manager and expertise lead of the scrum masters in our tribe. You use your expertise to develop the right competences in your chapter and you play an important role in the career development of your chapter members. As Chapter Lead of the scrum masters you also play an important role in the transformation of our tribe in collaboration with our TSMO.
AND IN DETAIL
Your activities as People Manager:
- You nurture the colleagues in your chapter by ensuring they develop the right skills & knowledge, and you manage with them their career plans;
- You recruit new chapter members in line with current & future needs of the tribe and ensure a good onboarding of them; you are also in charge of the knowledge management;
- You support team members on difficult or complex questions and support them in the necessary changes by developing their agile maturity and provide continuous feedback
- You contribute to the daily functioning of the tribe and represent your chapter in the tribe leadership;
- You help building an open feedback culture at all levels in our tribe and cultivate an open communication and a high level of trust within the tribe.
Your activities as Expert:
- You have impact on the way of working in our tribe through the scrum master community
- You are the sponsor of the community of practice for our scrum masters
- You collaborate closely with the TSM-O, squads and other leadership roles in order to continuously improve our agile way of working
- Part of your job is also to create an environment that will allow your chapter members to continuously develop themselves
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scrum?, * You have at least 5 year experience in relevant and similar roles
- You have a background as scrum master
- You preferably have experience in people management
- You are familiar with the ins and outs of agile-oriented teams and methodologies
- You have good social skills and have an empathic, you can relate to the feelings and sentiments of the people in your chapter
