Job description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team as we continue to expand into international markets. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and internal tools that support analytics, marketing, customer support, and overall business intelligence across our online casino platform. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable., Partner with marketing and customer support to understand their needs and translate them into effective, well-structured queries and dashboards., * Understand business operations-especially within the context of an online casino-to anticipate data requirements and propose meaningful metrics.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enrich data insights that improve acquisition, retention, user segmentation, and customer experience.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Deep expertise in SQL, including performance tuning, complex joins, and analytical query design.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, schema design, and experience implementing CDC workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend or full-stack language/framework, with practical experience building tools using React (rechart.js or d3). Ability to work with large datasets in a high-scale environment. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and pipeline orchestration tools.
Nice to Have
Experience with BI tools. Understanding of marketing analytics, CRM workflows, funnel analysis, and customer segmentation. Experience in gaming, betting, or online entertainment industries. Ability to anticipate business needs and propose meaningful KPIs and dashboards., A problem-solver who enjoys working across technical and business domains. You should be comfortable diving deep into database internals one day and building a clean, intuitive marketing dashboard the next.
