Job description

The IT Functional Manager is responsible for leading the functional management of business applications at a global and corporate level, ensuring they effectively support corporate processes and deliver value across all areas and countries. This role requires managing a transversal vision, aligning technology and processes globally, while also overseeing and supporting local execution in each country. The position includes coordinating the internal team, managing third-party vendors, and overseeing the financial aspects of projects and services. The IT Functional Manager is key to aligning technology with strategic business objectives, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement in information systems., * Oversee the lifecycle of corporate applications globally, with a special focus on SAP as a core business application, ensuring integration and alignment with business processes both at the corporate and local levels.

  • Develop and maintain a transversal vision for IT processes and solutions, ensuring consistency and standardization across the organization, while adapting and supporting local needs and requirements in each country.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the IT functional team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of objectives.
  • Coordinate and supervise relationships with technology vendors and partners, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), delivery quality, and alignment with business needs.
  • Prepare and control the assigned budget, optimizing project and service costs, and ensuring the profitability and efficiency of technology investments.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize the use of applications and technological resources.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and business areas, ensuring needs are understood and translated into effective technological solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of new technologies in the business applications domain, both globally and locally.
  • Oversee the correct application of data protection and compliance policies in all reporting and analytics processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and local regulations.
  • Drive the standardization and automation of reporting and business application processes across all business units and countries.
  • Support local IT teams in the implementation and adaptation of corporate solutions, ensuring best practices and consistency.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring their services meet both global and local requirements.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of IT projects and services, providing visibility at both corporate and country levels. We would like you to have

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business application management, IT team leadership, and technology vendor management.
  • Proven expertise in SAP management, implementation, and optimization.
  • Experience in financial management of IT projects and services.
  • Experience working in multinational or global environments (desirable).
  • Technical skills in enterprise application architecture, systems integration, project management, ITIL, ISO 20000, and change management.
  • Experience in negotiation and contract management with third parties.
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
  • Additional training in project management, business administration, or information technology (desirable).
