NET Software Engineer (100% remote in EU) - EU Institution

• Develop, implement, and configure ICT components, including source code, solution architecture, design patterns, and database schemas, across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Design, prototype, develop, and test EUAA Asylum Knowledge Centre (C3) applications, following the prioritized backlog.
• Implement task automation and CI/CD pipelines for ICT projects.
• Deliver final UI design and look-and-feel of applications.
• Enhance security posture through application security mitigations and timely patching.
• Conduct technical reviews, including source code reviews.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain integrations with other information systems.
• Coordinate with the ICT team to align solution architecture with best practices.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation: architecture docs, maintenance manuals, release guidelines, and user manuals.

• Minimum six (6) years of software development experience in .NET (C# or VB.NET), ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework.
• University degree (BSc or MSc) required.
• Experience in unit testing for front-end and back-end functionality.
• Proficient with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft Azure App Service, and Web API integration.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, jQuery, etc.
• Website support experience.
• PowerShell scripting skills.
• Microsoft Azure DevOps experience.
• Clean criminal record.
