Job description

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business decision-making.
  • Build automated and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Create and maintain KPI dashboards for business stakeholders.

Data Modelling & ETL

  • Develop data models, data pipelines, and transformation logic.
  • Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate datasets.
  • Support ETL processes and ensure data quality and consistency.

Business Insights

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing, Product) to understand analytical needs.
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations and business strategies.
  • Present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across systems.
  • Participate in improving data governance, definitions, and documentation.
  • Validate reports for accuracy before release.

Advanced Responsibilities (for Mid-Senior Levels)

  • Lead BI initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
  • Manage advanced data models and contribute to analytics strategy.
  • Support predictive analysis using Python/R (optional).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, data extraction).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query).
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, normalisation).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) - nice to have.
  • Python/R experience - optional for junior candidates, preferred for senior-level.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Pay: £37,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
