Job description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Applications Architect to support the selection, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and SaaS solutions within a global professional services environment.
This role will play a key part in architectural governance, application design, and vendor engagement, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure application solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business strategy.
You will contribute to the design and rollout of business-critical systems, supporting global deployments while maintaining strong architectural standards, patterns, and documentation practices., * Lead architecture design for new applications and SaaS solutions across the organisation.
- Provide architectural governance, ensuring compliance with standards, principles, and design frameworks.
- Support vendor selection and technical evaluation processes (RFPs/RFIs).
- Oversee enterprise application design across a global user base.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to drive firmwide adoption and delivery.
- Create and maintain architectural artefacts, roadmaps, and design documentation.
- Champion best practice architecture standards and modern ways of working.
- Support integration design across COTS and hybrid SaaS platforms.
- Work with Strategy & Architecture teams to shape technical direction and planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience within Professional Services environments.
- Strong background in application architecture and enterprise design governance.
- Extensive experience across Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint) and Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience working with business systems such as:
- iManage Cloud
- Intapp suite
- Litera
- Aderant
- SAP SuccessFactors
- CRM platforms
- Experience designing and deploying hybrid environments (M365 + SaaS + Azure).
- Strong knowledge of application integration patterns.
- Demonstrable experience delivering global application solutions.
- Vendor management experience including evaluations and selection processes., * Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
- TOGAF 9+ certified.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
- Minimum 10 years in IT and 3 years in an architecture role.
