This is a fantastic Microsoft Engineering Manager opportunity to work with a UK-based technology services organisation, leading their successful engineering team, to delivery Microsoft solutions and transformations.

The Microsoft Engineering Manager is a remote working role, based in the UK. Travel to customer sites and shared offices is expected, as necessary.

Requirements

As a Microsoft Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Microsoft engineers to deliver cloud transformation, migration, and optimisation projects. The Microsoft Engineering Manager will provide hands-on technical leadership, define delivery and migration strategies, validate architectures, oversee DevOps practices and manage escalations. As Microsoft Engineering Manager you will work closely with Project Managers and Architects, improving delivery, guide estimates, and drive operational excellence. To succeed as Microsoft Engineering Manager, you will need 7+ years' experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, strong DevOps and IaC skills, proven migration and modernisation expertise, and exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Certifications across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform/BI, DevOps, ITIL, or TOGAF are highly desirable., * 7+ years with Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern workplace or security solutions.

  • Strong technical leadership with the ability to guide engineers, validate designs, and oversee complex cloud migrations and transformations.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and modern engineering standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and lead customer-facing technical discussions.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workload, prioritisation, and delivery quality across multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
