What you'll build
As a working student (f/m/d) you will be part of one of our Scrum teams, working side by side with our true Full Stack Developers, Backend Experts and Frontend Heroes. You will be responsible for implementing features and functions according to the backlog and the requirements of a cloud environment. Furthermore, we also have special topics with a focus on investigating innovative technologies and introducing new state-of-the-art services.
Your task will concentrate on:
Working on microservices that are typically developed in Java, Spring (Boot) and combined with technologies like Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL, interacting with each other via Eventing and API calls., For SAP employees: Only permanent roles are eligible for the SAP Employee Referral Program, according to the eligibility rules set in the SAP Referral Policy. Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science/Informatics, e. g. Business Informatics Software Engineering
- Computer skills: Application development with Java, Spring (Boot), PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka, Frontend development with JavaScript, TypeScript and UI5, Git, GitHub, Maven, Docker
- Language skills: Fluent in English & German B1 minimum
- Soft skills: Working both independently and team-oriented
- Others: Scrum framework, open minded
- Location: Coming to Walldorf office at least once a week is required Start date: January/February 2026
