Job description
We are looking for an On-Site IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to take on casual, freelance-based assignments in your local area. This role is ideal for professionals open to contract-based work. Compensation will be provided on an hourly, half-day, or full-day basis, depending on the task. Assignments will be scheduled according to your location and availability (weekdays and/or weekends).
The position involves providing L1 and L2 IT/Network support, including desktop troubleshooting and the installation or replacement of server and rack components (such as hard drives). You will also support remote teams by offering on-site assistance, including console access to routers, switches, firewalls, and other infrastructure devices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, Hands-on experience in Desktop Support, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management, and supporting third-party applications on Windows OS ITIL and Windows Server Administration certifications, with practical knowledge of scripting and automation Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, wireless LAN issues, Ethernet configurations, and subnetting Troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices.
