A thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an organised, technically confident and customer-focused IT Technician to join their ICT Support Team. This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026, supporting the school's staff and students with day-to-day ICT operations.

Responsibilities
- Providing frontline technical support for hardware, software and network issues
- Maintaining devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and classroom IT
- Supporting interactive boards, projectors and AV equipment
- Troubleshooting connectivity, user accounts and permissions
- Assisting with system updates, installations and ICT development projects
- Documenting support issues and contributing to efficient helpdesk management
- Supporting whole-school digital initiatives and technical rollouts
Requirements
- IT support experience (school experience beneficial but not essential)
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networks and device maintenance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- Relevant IT qualifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) desirable
