Application Engineer

• Provide technical support and product recommendations to our OEM customers.
• Answer customer enquiries, prepare quotations and Technical information.
• Ensure all enquiries are dealt with promptly, efficiently and with an emphasis on customer service and attention to detail.
• Work with their suppliers & partners to develop new products.
• Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD & Solidworks.se vibration engineering software & FFT vibration measurements.
• This role requires regular on-site work in Leicester; therefore, candidates must be able to reliably commute to Leicester.
• The successful candidate will need to be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Leicester or be willing to relocate.

Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, On behalf of our Leicester Client, we are looking to recruit a full time Applications Engineer. We are looking for a candidate who is a mechanically biased Engineer; qualified to minimum HNC level, or equivalent industry experience.

We are also looking for a candidate who has excellent IT Literacy and experience of AutoCAD or SolidWorks. This is advantageous, but not essential., * A Mechanically biased engineer qualified to minimum HNC level, or equivalent industry experience.

• IT Literate - they use a range of digital tooling to manage our business systems, such as Sage 50 and bespoke software for engineering calculations.
• Experience of AutoCAD or Solidworks advantageous, but not essential
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
• Become part of their established engineering team working closely with their internal applications engineers & their field technical sales staff.
