Job description
- Implementing smaller software features and assisting with bug fixes under guidance
- Writing, maintaining and improving automated tests as well as contributing to documentation
- Supporting the team with technical research tasks and participating in code reviews to learn best practices
- Helping to maintain and enhance our build systems and development workflows
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web development?, * Enrollment in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (working student)
- Basic programming experience with Ruby on Rails and understanding of web development fundamentals
- Eagerness to learn, grow and work independently while asking questions when needed
- Good communication skills in English and willingness to collaborate
- Availability of 15-20 hours per week and ability to work from our Berlin office twice per week
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- First experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, automated testing or databases (PostgreSQL)
- Interest in software security, data protection and/or German language skills is a plus
