Job description
We are looking for a Data Analyst who have experience in supporting a SME business. Someone who can support with maintaining existing reports and creating new reports corresponding to client requests whilst sustaining efficiency and accuracy.
Responsible for analysing large data sets and creating insights to inform business decisions at RFCL.
This role will work closely with the Data Manager to develop and implement data-driven strategies that support the company's goals and objectives., Reporting
- Generation, QC, documentation, and timely submission of client reports.
- Provide data-related support and guidance to other colleagues and departments.
- Create, maintain, and improve data collation for dashboards to provide insights and performance metrics with proven accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Documentation of all reports, either new or existing, need to be kept and maintained.
- Some elucidation and discussion of reports, dashboards, and issues with clients.
Databases
- Ensure all Retail-FCL records are kept up to date with any amendments.
- Update and maintain the SQL-Server database to hold all the transactional information and meta-data, whether it's automatically imported or with manual intervention.
- The data is matched and linked accordingly, especially where data is sourced from other clients.
Data Analysis
- Analyse large data sets in SQL server, Excel and PowerBI to identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions and client queries.
- Any irregularities in reports to be thoroughly investigated and amended, to ensure reports are issued out correctly.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in a highly numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent experience of Excel, some experience or good knowledge of SQL and Power BI. Experience in Python a plus.
- Experience with data science technologies a plus.
- Strong communication skills, ability to discuss data to non-technical stakeholders and occasionally to clients.
- Experience working in the financial reporting, specifically with ATM services, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
