• Administration, maintenance, and optimization of our PostgreSQL databases
• Ensuring data integrity, availability, and security
• Performing performance analyses and implementing optimization measures
• Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies
• Supporting the planning and execution of database migrations
• Collaborating closely with developers to optimize database queries and schemas
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting database-related issues
• Documenting database architectures, configurations, and processes
• Automating database installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks

Do you have experience in Scripting?, * Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in administering relational databases
• Solid experience with SQL and database design
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies as well as performance tuning in PostgreSQL
• Experience with Ansible is a plus, but not required
• Linux knowledge is an advantage
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is a plus
• Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work
• Good communication skills in English
