In this role, you will be part of a central support function delivering day to day assistance across desktops, applications and telecoms. You will be involved in resolving technical issues, managing tasks through to completion and ensuring minimal downtime for users. The position also includes hands on work with hardware, occasional equipment moves and contributing to the smooth operation of internal systems.
This is a great chance to work within an established technical team where you will build your knowledge across a variety of platforms. The role offers exposure to areas such as Active Directory, Wintel systems and Microsoft Exchange, with opportunities to develop your experience further and take on more responsibility over time.
Requirements
- Experience working within an IT support environment in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory
- Hands on experience with Wintel systems and Microsoft Exchange
- Good educational background
- Full drivers licence and able to undertake heavy lifting of equipment on ad-hoc basis during office relocations
Desirable
- Exposure to XenApp
- HNC in Computing or equivalent qualification
- Microsoft Certified Professional training
