You'll join a supportive team where you'll work with cloud, desktop and infrastructure technologies, helping to keep critical services running smoothly for our Aerospace, Defence and Security clients.
You'll provide second and third line support across a range of technologies, alongside contributing to implementation work such as installation, maintenance and performance optimisation. You'll be part of a collaborative team with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role where you'll be on site in either Glasgow or Gosport two days per week.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing second and third line support for cloud, desktop and infrastructure services.
- Delivering technical implementation work including installation, maintenance and performance optimisation.
- Supporting and administering Windows or Linux servers, Windows 10 and 11, Active Directory and associated technologies.
- Integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems.
- Participating in the on-call rota and occasional shift work.
What you'll bring:
- Experience with Windows or Linux Server, Windows 10 and 11, and Active Directory.
- Strong organisational skills to balance and prioritise workload effectively.
- Experience integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment that includes on-call support.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible or transferable infrastructure-as-code skills.
- Knowledge of Citrix and VMware.
- Experience working with Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Scripting or coding experience.
- Experience with MECM, WSUS, SolarWinds or similar systems management tools.
- Experience working with cloud environments such as OCI or Azure.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Location: Glasgow or Gosport, hybrid - on site two days per week. Security Clearance Level: DV - Must be eligible for DV clearance Internal Recruiter: Rebecca.
