Large Consultancy - End Client is a Government Body

Your new role

We are seeking a Technical Support Professional to provide operational support across a range of critical applications deployed on a common platform within a secure government environment. The role involves monitoring incident management queues, performing first-line investigation, applying initial remediation, and contributing to the rollout of system enhancements and patches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for a range of production IT services and critical applications.
  • Monitor incident management queues and respond in line with service expectations.
  • Perform initial technical triage and implement authorised remediation steps.
  • Assist technical teams with deployment of enhancements, configuration updates, and patches.
  • Produce high-quality documentation and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Support continual service improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • SC Clearance Eligible (Based in UK for 5 year)
  • Logical, methodical problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including:
  • Word
  • PowerPoint
  • Excel
  • Teams
  • SharePoint
  • OneDrive
  • Experience working with incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Background in supporting production IT services.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Remedy incident management system.
  • Experience with SharePoint On-Premises configuration and support.
