NET Developer

In this role, you will contribute directly to the stability, security and scalability of our cloud platform. You will be responsible for:

• Development: Developing and maintaining platform services, shared libraries and APIs used by other teams.
• Automation: Implementing and improving automation in our build and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure: Further developing our Azure infrastructure, including monitoring, security and performance.
• Technical choices: Making well-considered technical decisions together with your team and reviewing code.
• Architecture: Contributing ideas about architecture and identifying opportunities for improvement in our platform foundations.
• Ownership: You will work on the basis of trust and be given the space to take initiative, experiment and learn. This is entirely in line with Nedap's way of working.

Your team

As a .NET Developer, you will join an experienced and close-knit platform team consisting of a Product Owner, Developers and a Software Test Engineer who also fulfils the role of scrum master. The team is responsible for the Azure platform behind Nedap Now: from platform services and shared libraries to infrastructure, security and performance. In doing so, you will create the foundation that enables other cloud teams to develop and roll out independently, securely and reliably.

The team's scope is broad. This gives you a lot of freedom to explore new ideas and seize opportunities, but it also requires intensive collaboration. Knowledge is deliberately not limited to one person; we regularly brainstorm, share insights and help each other where necessary. There is an open and collegial atmosphere in which professionalism and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Together with other cloud teams within Livestock, you will ensure that Nedap Now continues to grow as a reliable and scalable platform for our solutions in the global dairy sector.

You also recognise yourself in the following:

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience with C# and .NET and feel at home in a modern Microsoft environment.
• Knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with our stack (nice to have): Anything you already know from our tech stack will give you a flying start, but we don't expect you to master everything. We work with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Entity Framework, Duende IdentityServer, Typescript VUE, Razor pages, Bicep and .NET MAUI, among others.
• Language skills: You have a good command of Dutch and English.

As a .NET Developer at Nedap in Livestock, you will work on the further development of Nedap Now, the cloud platform that processes millions of messages from dairy farms around the world every day. Together with your team, you will build the foundation on which other teams can develop and roll out their solutions. In your daily work, you will develop platform services and shared libraries, automate our build and deployment processes, and continuously improve the underlying Azure infrastructure. You will interact frequently with fellow developers. Together, you will design and review solutions, solve technical challenges and ensure that Nedap Now remains stable, secure and scalable for today and in the future. Tech stack The tech stack for Nedap Livestock is largely based on Microsoft technology. The teams are at the forefront of adopting new technologies. It is not unusual for the first systems to be updated immediately on the day a new .NET version is released. The platform is hosted by Azure, which provides many different services. The entire infrastructure is being rolled out automatically to multiple Azure regions. The platform processes millions of incoming messages every day, and the ambition is to grow this exponentially in the coming years., Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least two times a week.
