Job description

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Data Analyst to own, develop and run our Power BI reporting environment across the business.

This role will be responsible for integrating data from multiple internal and external sources (including newly acquired companies), validating data quality, maintaining the data model and data warehouse, and delivering high-quality dashboards and insights to finance, operations, commercial and senior leadership teams.

The role sits within the FP&A function but works cross-functionally with Finance, IT, operations, commercial teams and external consultants. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, setting structure and building sustainable data processes in a growing, multi-entity business., Power BI & reporting ownership

  • Own the end-to-end Power BI environment, including datasets, data models, dashboards and reports
  • Design, build and maintain KPI dashboards for finance, operations, commercial and executive stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly reports and analytical insights
  • Ensure consistency of metrics, definitions and reporting logic across the organisation

Data integration & data warehouse

  • Lead the integration of data from multiple source systems into the Power BI data model and data warehouse
  • Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired companies into the reporting environment
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to map data sources, define data structures and improve data flows

Data quality & governance

  • Validate data accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems
  • Identify and resolve data issues proactively, implementing controls and checks where required
  • Help define and document data definitions, reporting standards and processes
  • Establish robust, repeatable processes for data refresh, validation and reporting

Business partnering & communication

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across finance, operations, commercial and leadership teams
  • Communicate complex data topics clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Work with external consultants and vendors supporting data, BI or system implementations
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, deep dives and insight generation to support decision-making

Project management and coordination

  • Manage multiple data and reporting initiatives in parallel, including integration and improvement projects
  • Plan and track timelines, priorities and dependencies to ensure delivery against agreed milestones
  • Lead regular status update calls and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks, issues and blockers and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them efficiently

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Power BI (report development, data modelling, DAX, Power Query)
  • Proven experience working with large datasets from multiple sources
  • Experience integrating and mapping data across different systems and entities
  • Strong understanding of data validation, data quality and reconciliation processes
  • Ability to take ownership of end-to-end reporting processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
  • Organised, structured and process-driven approach to work
  • Experience supporting finance, FP&A or performance management teams
  • Fluent in English and French/German is a bonus

Desirable

  • Experience working with or alongside a data warehouse
  • Exposure to healthcare or life sciences is a plus
  • Experience supporting finance, FP&A or performance management teams
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages
  • Experience working in multi-entity, acquisition-heavy or fast-growing organisations, * Proactive and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability
  • Solution-oriented mindset - able to pragmatically improve imperfect data environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable operating between finance, business and IT teams
