Job description

Purem Novi, Inc. seeks an ETS Systems Analyst in Brighton, MI to lead support for production activities through troubleshooting and continuous improvement of PLC programming, robot programming and troubleshooting of electrical wiring. Plan and design control systems to improve production equipment and enhance functionality. Create, maintain, and lead open issues for new projects and develop standards and programs for machine builders to use. Implement controls changes and improvements throughout facilities. Integrate and support Plant IT services, including Production, PC&L, HR, Quality and Exhaust Traceability and Testing (ETS). Provide IT/ETS Contingency planning and documentation. Participate in IT/ETS equipment selection and purchase (computers, printers, scanners, cabling, monitors, misc.) and decide which vendor/service provider to use for purchasing equipment/services. Create, implement and support IT/ETS policies, processes and procedures (both for plant and office users). Provide local and corporate support for IT and ETS projects, infrastructure support (inventory and setup). Network low voltage wiring and networking equipment. Perform final connection to machines. Provide operations support (troubleshooting systems problems, programing and troubleshooting printers/scanners). Programming database scripts to read data out of databases. Design and implement ETS Projects. Coordinate launches of IT and ETS Projects. Provide IT and ETS user administration and support. Create purchase requisitions for equipment/service needs and follow up with supplier and PO to ensure it is moving forward as planned. Create IT/ETS documentation. Provide data communication with customer. Conduct all business-related activities within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and follow all polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001. Look for way to improve and promote quality. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have at least three (3) years of experience as an Analyst or a similar position in the automotive exhaust production industry utilizing all of the following: leading support for production activities through troubleshooting and continuous improvement of PLC programming, robot programming and troubleshooting of electrical wiring; performing network low voltage wiring and networking equipment; programming database scripts to read data out of databases; digital manufacturing; IT/OT integration; OEE and production performance; lean manufacturing/six sigma; SAP (manufacturing/logistics interfaces); manufacturing data analysis; system validation and acceptance (FAT/SAT); change management; and industry 4.0 smart manufacturing.
