Software Test Engineer, Senior II

• Design and development of advanced software test solutions, including technical ownership of test concepts and implementations
• High degree of autonomy in the definition of test concepts and the resolution of complex, non-standard test challenges
• Responsibility for the further development of existing test approaches and solution patterns
• Definition and representation of test strategies and test designs, including alignment with internal and external stakeholders
• Development and execution of software tests using modern programming languages, test frameworks and environments
• Planning, coordination and evaluation of complex test activities, including functional, performance and safety-related tests
• Analysis and interpretation of test results, including derivation and tracking of corrective actions
• Contribution to test automation and quality assurance concepts, including regression and performance testing
• Collaboration with development, system and project teams to ensure end-to-end software quality
• Continuous improvement of test processes, methods and tools, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency
• Creation, documentation and communication of test results and recommendations

• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent qualification with strong testing expertise
• Several years of professional experience in software testing, preferably in embedded software environments for battery management systems
• Hands-on experience in testing complex software systems, ideally including safety-relevance of resource-constrained systems
• Strong knowledge of test design, test automation and test analysis techniques
• Experience in analyzing complex software issues and further developing existing solution approaches
• Structured, analytical working style with strong quality mindset
• Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborating in interdisciplinary, international teams
• Experience in representing test solutions towards customers and suppliers
• Ability to align technical solutions in interdisciplinary, international environments, including negotiation situations
• Experience in functional guidance or mentoring
