Job description
- Configuration as code for infrastructure, system configuration, and application deployments
- Design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS
- Automate operations and maintenance activities
- Review security scan reports and address findings
- Apply patches, upgrades, and application deployments
- Monitor application availability and aide in resolving operational issues
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with system administration of RPM-based Linux distributions (Amazon Linux, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
- 3+ years of automation experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, etc)
- Experience with fully automated infrastructure, system, and application deployment with technologies like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with government and industry security standards (CIS, STIG, or NIST 800-53) and remediating issues identified during security audits
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipeline tools
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, DevOps Engineer - Professional, or Security - Specialty
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with SELinux
