Job description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify gaps and opportunities for scaling and operationalizing AI solutions.
  • Be responsible for scoping, planning, creating, setting milestones and program tracking.
  • Use leadership, product and technical judgment in AI to drive program delivery.
  • Navigate multiple, interdependent work streams, functional and technical AI concepts, and conversations across different stakeholders to drive collaboration and consensus.
  • Provide expertise and support on specific projects and standardize the approach for expansion of AI features to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience with artificial intelligence/machine learning projects, tools or infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience implementing artificial intelligence within complex enterprise domains.
  • Experience in data centers or network physical infrastructure planning, evaluation and negotiations.
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning projects, tools, or infrastructure with large-scale, complex applications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
