A Mainframe Developer designs| codes| tests| and maintains high-performance software applications on large-scale IBM systems| primarily using COBOL| JCL| and DB2. - System Maintenance Modifying existing programs to fix issues or improve performance.
- Batch Processing Developing and scheduling Job Control Language (JCL) for batch jobs.
- Database Management Working with DB2 or IMS databases to manage data.
- Documentation Creating technical documentation| functional specifications| and user manuals.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of COBOL| JCL| DB2| and SQL.
- Tools Experience with tools such as CICS| IBM ZOS| and debugging tools (e.g.| Xpediter).
- Technical Skills Understanding of file structures (VSAM) and relational database concepts.
- Analytical Abilities Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex| large-scale data issues
Education: At least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
