Job description

Purpose of Position: The HMDA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the credit union's full compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and related regulatory requirements across all real estate, commercial, and consumer lending operations. This role oversees data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process consistency from application intake through loan closing. The HMDA Specialist partners closely with mortgage, consumer lending, commercial lending, and compliance teams to maintain high-quality data and support regulatory examinations.

Requirements

Minimum Formal Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years in a Credit Union or other financial institution preferred.
  • Knowledge of HMDA, Regulation C, and related compliance required.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be bondable.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • General/basic knowledge of Mortgages
