Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Systems Administrator to support and enhance our enterprise cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud administration, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, security, identity management, and high-availability architectures. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage CI/CD pipelines, improve system reliability, and deploy scalable cloud-native solutions., + Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments to ensure high availability, performance, and operational stability.

  • Support cloud migration initiatives including workload assessment, deployment, validation, and post-migration support.

  • Configure and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity, DNS services, and enterprise networking components.

  • Implement and maintain multi-region high-availability and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. Infrastructure Automation & DevOps

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using: Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible, Chef and Jenkins

  • Automate cloud provisioning, deployments, and environment configurations using PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated deployments, release management, and backlog tracking.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, automation, and infrastructure issues. Cloud Applications & API Management

  • Build, deploy, and manage: Azure Function Apps, Azure API Management (APIM), Serverless and microservices-based architectures

  • Configure API integrations, routing policies, and security controls within Azure APIM.

  • Support API lifecycle management and third-party platform integrations. AI & Modern Cloud Services

  • Deploy and integrate Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT, Azure Bot Services, and Azure Cognitive Search into enterprise applications.

  • Support and optimize Azure Databricks environments for analytics and data processing workloads. Identity & Access Management

  • Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) integrations and synchronization using Azure AD Connect.

  • Configure and maintain: RBAC policies, Single Sign-On (SSO), Okta integrations

  • Ensure secure identity and access management practices across cloud environments. Security & Monitoring

  • Implement cloud security best practices using: Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Azure Front Door

  • Configure firewall rules, WAF policies, and secure traffic routing.

  • Monitor systems using Azure Monitor and Application Insights for proactive issue resolution.

  • Conduct incident response activities, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and automation.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to cloud operations and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS.

  • Strong hands-on experience with: o Azure DevOps o Terraform o ARM Templates o PowerShell scripting o CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with Azure networking, security, and identity management.

  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and API management.

  • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

  • Understanding of disaster recovery and high-availability architecture design Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, etc.)

  • AWS Certifications

  • Experience with: o Azure OpenAI / AI integrations o Databricks o Kubernetes or containerized workloads o Agile/Scrum environments
