User Experience/Interaction Designer

Summary: Support user experience and interaction design for the Investigation Management System Improvements effort. This role is ideal for a designer who can translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive workflows, wireframes, and design recommendations for internal enterprise users., * Conduct user-centered discovery to understand workflow needs, pain points, and usability challenges.

• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, journey maps, and interaction design concepts.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and engineers to align design solutions with requirements.
• Recommend improvements to navigation, layout, task flow, and overall user experience.
• Support usability reviews and iterative refinement of proposed solutions.
• Promote practical, consistent, and accessibility-aware design approaches.
• Document design rationale and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

• Experience in UX, interaction design, service design, or similar roles supporting digital products or enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, flows, and related design artifacts.
• Strong understanding of usability, user-centered design methods, and interaction design principles.
• Ability to translate business needs and user feedback into actionable design solutions.
• Must meet the applicable TDDC MSA labor category education and experience requirements., * Experience with internal workflow systems, case management platforms, or regulated business applications.
• Experience with accessibility-informed design practices.
• Public sector experience.
