Quality Assurance Technician-2nd Shift-Warehouse

Reporting Directly to the QA Manager, the QA Technician role is a high-visibility, high-impact role within the Processing Department at TFI USA. This is your opportunity to influence and innovate. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Conduct Pre-Operational and Operational Inspections and document findings.
• Communicate Foreign Object discoveries and provide root cause identification and corrective action measures.
• Inspect returned goods, document findings, and provide disposition.
• Perform Shelf-Life testing and assist in sampling collection.
• Provide Chemically Lean testing results and fat testing.
• Execute ATP environmental swabbing in the facility (both food contact and non-food contact surfaces).

Do you have experience in Safety regulations?, * 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment

• Meat exposure / meat experience a plus
• HACCP Certified preferred
• USDA manufacturing exposure/experience a plus
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook; able to complete formulas
• Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
• Excels as a team player
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by Thomas Foods International, USA
