The Database Engineer/Architect

• Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Automatisierungsplattformen und Tools zur Unterstützung des Datenbankbetriebs und zur Reduktion manueller Tätigkeiten ("Toil")
• Analyse von Incidents, Identifikation von Ursachen sowie Implementierung automatisierungsbasierter Verbesserungen zur nachhaltigen Problemvermeidung
• Fachliche Unterstützung von Applikationsteams bei der Auswahl von Datenbankprodukten und bei Performance-Optimierungen
• Bereitstellung von L4-Support für Oracle-Datenbanken und Exadata-Cloud-Umgebungen
• Entwurf und Pflege robuster Datenbankmodelle entsprechend den fachlichen Anforderungen
• Technische Leitung (Tech Lead) für Themen im Bereich Datenbank- und Cloud-Architektur

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten/Erfahrungen

• Architektur und Design von Lösungen für Oracle-Datenbankplattformen
• Fundierte Expertise als Oracle DBA (CRS 11g-23ai) sowie in Exadata-Infrastrukturen, einschließlich Exadata Cloud@Customer und Autonomous
• Entwicklung und Wartung von Automatisierungslösungen mit Bash/KSH, Python, Ansible sowie Datenbankscripting-Technologien
• Gute Kenntnisse in Java, Oracle APEX sowie in Entwicklungstools (z. B. Git, JIRA)
• Starkes Verständnis von Cloud-Architekturen, Rechenzentrumsumgebungen, Netzwerktechnologien sowie Kapazitätsplanung und -management
• Kenntnisse von Netzwerk-, Firewall- und Enterprise-Storage-Architekturen sowie des ITIL-Frameworks
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
