Job description
The Software and Digital Platforms team in France is looking for an AI Powered Developer Productivity Architect to help Digital Natives and high growth startups transform how software is built using AI native development platforms.
In this role, you will work with some of the most innovative software companies to design and implement AI powered developer platforms that dramatically improve engineering productivity. A key focus will be enabling organizations to adopt agentic development workflows using modern tools such as Copilot CLI, multi agent ecosystems, and autonomous coding agents that can assist engineers across the entire development lifecycle.
You will guide engineering teams in building AI native DevOps environments where automation is embedded throughout the GitHub lifecycle. This includes helping organizations integrate intelligent coding agents directly into development workflows, enabling developers to assign issues to AI agents and automatically generate pull requests, tests, and documentation.
A central part of the role is supporting the adoption of multi agent ecosystems through platforms such as Agent HQ, enabling interoperability across AI coding systems including Copilot, Claude, and Codex. These architectures allow engineering teams to orchestrate specialized agents that collaborate to accelerate development, testing, and deployment.
You will also help organizations implement enterprise grade security and governance for AI assisted development, ensuring that AI powered coding workflows integrate seamlessly with existing DevOps practices, compliance requirements, and security standards.
Working closely with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders, you will help define the next generation of developer productivity platforms and enable Digital Native companies to build and ship software faster using AI.

Responsibilities
Partner with Digital Natives and startup engineering teams to design and implement AI powered developer platforms that improve software engineering productivity and velocity.
Guide organizations in adopting Copilot CLI and other agentic development tools that bring AI directly into the developer workflow and terminal experience.
Architect multi agent development ecosystems using platforms such as Agent HQ, enabling interoperability across AI coding systems including Copilot, Claude, and Codex.
Help engineering teams adopt autonomous coding agents that can automatically generate pull requests, resolve issues, create tests, and assist in maintaining codebases.
Design AI native DevOps workflows where automation and intelligent agents are embedded across the GitHub development lifecycle.
Advise engineering teams on integrating AI coding tools with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks to ensure safe and responsible AI development practices.
Collaborate with Microsoft product groups and internal engineering teams to bring the latest AI powered developer capabilities to Digital Native companies.
Provide technical leadership by sharing architectural best practices, mentoring teams, and helping establish scalable models for AI assisted software development.
Identify patterns and insights across Digital Native development environments and share feedback with Microsoft engineering teams to help improve AI developer platforms.
Operate with strong operational excellence across engagements, ensuring delivery aligns with proven practices and Microsoft engineering methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in software engineering, developer platforms, DevOps, or cloud native application development.
Experience with AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or other AI coding platforms.
Familiarity with modern developer workflows using GitHub, including pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and automated DevOps practices.
Understanding of emerging agentic development models, including AI agents that support coding, testing, and issue resolution.
Experience designing or implementing developer productivity platforms, DevOps automation, or engineering tooling.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with software companies, Digital Natives, or startup engineering environments is preferred.
This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
