Information Technology Administrator - Warehouse

The Information Technology Administrator is responsible for installing, managing, and supporting technology systems and hardware including desktop and laptop computers, printers, RF scanners, mobile devices, and related IT equipment, as well as supporting internet, wireless, and RF infrastructure within the warehouse environment.

Essential Duties Include:

• Be a TEAM player with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude; collaborate with all departments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware including desktop and laptop computers, printers, RF scanners, mobile devices, and related IT equipment.
• Support and maintain warehouse network infrastructure including wireless access points, internet connectivity, and RF communication systems.
• Oversee software programs and applications, including warehouse management systems, telephone systems, email, Microsoft 365 applications, and other communication tools.
• Create, prioritize, document, and resolve IT support tickets using ticket-tracking software.
• Provide in-person and remote technical assistance to internal users, customers, and vendors.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and operational technology issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including user account setup, permissions, password resets, and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate communication with third-party vendors regarding technical support, equipment repairs, and system-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, and assigned technology assets.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including password security, MFA enrollment, phishing awareness, and endpoint protection measures.
• Assist with basic cabling, installation, and organization of network and IT equipment within warehouse and office environments.
• Assist with IT projects, building expansions, system upgrades, and future facility development.
• Respond to operational technology issues that impact warehouse productivity and customer operations.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as operational needs require, including working until the job is complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Minimum associate's degree or two coursework equivalents in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
• 2 years working in warehousing, production, distribution (or equivalent) environment (preferred).
• 2 years of networking (data communication) experience.
• A+ (required) and Network+ (preferred) Certification.
• Basic understanding of IT budgeting and cost management to support equipment procurement.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently, and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
• Experience working with multiple OS (Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iOS) and cloud applications.
• Experience supporting warehouse management systems (WMS), RF devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and warehouse operational technology (preferred).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including wireless connectivity, switches, VPNs, and TCP/IP preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT systems and computer-related issues efficiently.
• Must have an acceptable driving record according to Company guidelines.
• Problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Core working hours are Monday - Friday dayshift, but in rare emergency situations must be available for team support as needed during evening hours and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines.
• Ability to travel to different Cold-Link Logistics locations in Central Florida.
• Prolonged period of standing, walking, sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to be in a multi-temperature warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from outside ambient to -20 degrees F. Cold-Link provides cold weather gear for staff members., * Data Communication: 2 years (Preferred)
• Warehouse management system: 1 year (Preferred)
• Multiple Operating System: 2 years (Preferred)
• Information Technology: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
