About the Role:

We are seeking aDirector ofSoftwareEngineeringto lead theConferenceTechplatform integrations,to enable a seamless, world-class experience for C-level executives.Thisrole willbe responsible forleadingcross regionalengineeringteamsto execute platform integrations, elevate engineering excellence, and deliverhigh-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business strategy.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Lead Engineering: Lead across regionalengineering team to deliver innovative solutions while fostering ownership, accountability, and high performance.

• Drive Platform Integration: Execute theconferenceplatform integration roadmap, influence technology direction, and ensure successful delivery in an agile environment.

• Enable Engineering Excellence: Strengthen SDLC rigor, platform architecture, and engineering discipline, embedding responsible AI practices to deliver secure, scalable, andfuture readyenterprise solutions.

• Partner & Lead Change:Partner with Conference business and IT leaders to align technology solutions to strategic priorities, and lead change to ensure successful adoption of new platforms, processes, and ways of working.

• Champion Quality:Drive aquality firstcultureleveragingAI powered, responsible SDLC practices that improve reliability, scalability, and delivery efficiency.

• Education:Bachelor's ormaster'sin computer science or related field.

• Experience:12-15 years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

• Technical Expertise:Strong execution background inenterprise platformintegrations, cloud architecture (AWS), Object oriented programming - .NET/Java/Ruby, andexpertiseinbuildingenterprisescaleAPIcentricandevent drivenplatforms.ExperienceleveragingAI poweredfeatures within digital platforms to deliver personalized, intuitive user experiences and to improve user engagement and elevate attendee experiences.

• Leadership Skills:Proven ability to manage distributed teams and drive organizational change.Ability to collaborate across IT and business functions to drive innovation.

• Preferred:Curiosity and drive for continuous learning.Experience leading large platform integration initiatives.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 128,000 USD - 189,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
