Job description
- Design and own the core architecture of our 3D robotics vision software, ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, and built for the long term.
- Build heavily reused packages that serve as the engineering foundation across multiple robotics solutions in different lifecycle stages.
- Balance big-picture architecture decisions with hands-on coding and delivery as part of a unified team of 10 engineers.
- Plan actively for lifecycle management and software update processes - deployment is never the finish line.
- Stay at the cutting edge of computer vision, AI, and software engineering, and bring that knowledge back into the team.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of C++.
- Hands-on experience with modern tooling: Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- A systems mindset - you design for reliability, scalability, and the realities of industrial deployment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; you can articulate architecture decisions clearly and collaborate across disciplines.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of what you build.
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are based in Belgium.
Bonus Points
- Experience in data science, AI, computer vision, or industrial automation.
- Familiarity with optical technology - cameras, lighting setups, or 3D sensors.
