Job description

We are seeking an experienced End-User Computing Support Engineer/Desktop Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT support team in Livingston. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on support professional with strong desktop engineering, migration, and end-user support experience.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows and Mac environments, desktop support, device management, VIP support, and modern workplace technologies including Intune and MDM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and end-user devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents within agreed SLAs
  • Support software packaging, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance activities
  • Manage Office 365, SharePoint, and shared folder access issues
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and repairs
  • Deliver IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) support
  • Provide VIP support and troubleshoot Windows and Mac environments
  • Maintain documentation and ensure accurate ticket updates

Requirements

  • Strong Desktop Support/End-User Computing experience
  • Hands-on support of Windows and Mac environments
  • Experience supporting PCs, telephony systems, wireless networks, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Incident management and troubleshooting expertise
  • Desktop migration experience
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise support environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting executive/VIP users

Desirable Skills

  • Microsoft Intune administration experience
  • Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access understanding
  • MDM/MAM knowledge and mobile device management experience
  • Apple DEP/VPP administration
  • Application deployment and packaging experience
  • Windows Defender and endpoint security knowledge
  • Experience managing iOS, Android, and Windows device policies
