Job description

We have a current opening for an IT Infrastructure Specialist and are actively reviewing applications.

You are going to join the Enterprise systems center of expertise of Ferrero and participate in activities that include designing and managing IT servers and storage infrastructure, coordinating support services implementations, and ensuring the proper level of reliability and security., * Operate within a highly motivated, international team environment

  • Contribute to and support IT projects at a global scale
  • Administer cloud solutions, primarily based on Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS platforms
  • Produce and deliver clear, professional technical reports
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for advanced troubleshooting and design activities across servers, storage, and data center technologies
  • Act as the primary technical lead for project-related infrastructure activities, including:

o Infrastructure demand management: gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements o Defining and designing infrastructure solutions aligned with Group standards o Managing and executing technical project tasks in accordance with Group guidelines o Performing risk identification and mitigation, including the implementation of preventive measures o Implementing and managing business continuity and disaster recovery solutions (BCDR/BCSR)

  • Collaborate with Group IT and the North America Delivery Center to manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring the delivery of efficient, business-aligned solutions

  • Provide 3rd-level support, assisting AMS teams with the review, escalation, and resolution of incidents and service requests.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing server and storage infrastructures, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Windows Server, Linux operating systems, VMware ESX, Veeam, AWS, and Microsoft Azure IaaS
  • Ability to quickly understand complex requirements, translate them into structured solutions, and rapidly adapt to new technologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both national and international teams
  • Willingness to travel for project needs, with a strong client- and service-oriented mindset, as well as flexibility

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating server, storage, and cloud-based processes
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities across Microsoft/Windows servers, services, and SQL databases
  • Solid understanding of storage zoning and provisioning
  • Working knowledge of Bash scripting
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Linux Secure FTP (SFTP) environments
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting Citrix issues escalated from 2nd-level support

Benefits & conditions

The base salary range for this position is $105,117 - 140,155. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
